Midnite Agogo Bar Soi Cowboy Bangkok

Midnite what a rip off!!! Avoid at all costs. I last visited this bar six months a go and it was relatively busy...yes drinks are quite expensive but girls not that bad. I believe "the man from Iran " has bought the bar now and owns several bars in Cowboy. Anyway on my last vist just last week i got stung big style just under 1,000 baht for three lady drinks and one beer!!! I didn't realise the cost until i was outside. In addition the mamasan took her obligatory tip from the bar fine of 100 baht without even asking. After this it now expalins why the bar is so empty these days.....pass on the word a massive rip off avoid this bar at all costs!!!

Every bar Midnite, Sahara, Spice Girls, Kiss, Deo and Deja Vu is not touristfriendly. Staff adds drinks to bill and prices are quite high compared to Tilac for example.
For example it´s more expensive to buy a bottle of gin than to buy each drink for itself. All bars have ladyboys working as ordinary bargirls so a tip is to be aware of silicone in these bars.

Warning: Midnite Bar (Soi Cowboy) Scam: Fake bills

Four weeks ago I have been to Bankok. Two times I went to Midnite Bar and both times they presented me a fake bill which was far to high.
The first timeI came with a friend and we paid the girls quite some drinks, so the bill reached 4000 within 30min. Afer having realized that a lady drink is 200 we slowed down giving drinks a bit. The final bill (the print-out of an electronic cash register, to make it look "reliable") for 4 beers and a lot of ladydrinks showed like 7500 and already began counting money, when my friend counted the lady drink receipts with the girl´s numbers on our table and told me that there is something wrong with the bill. Obviously our bill was 2000 too high. After a complaint to a waitress she came back with a new bill which still was too high. Finally I showed her in the calculater what the correct value is and she agreed (without apologizing).

The 2nd time everything went in a similar way. After some drinks for my friend (another one) and me and a couple of lady drinks the bill was too high again. This time I was aware this might happen and it was easy to calculate. After a complaint they came back with a correct bill.

Can this be done accidentially? Maybe, but I don't think so.
